Here is an article I wrote for the Testimony group. This information is VERY important to keep XanGo out of the FTC & FDA "RED" Zone

From Dr. James Duke, perhaps America’s foremost ethno botanist. Retired in 1995. He worked for the USDA and University of Maryland. Prolific writer and created a phytochemical and ethno botanical database.

Mangosteen is listed with 138 separate benefits. The following are the major benefits:

Anti-fatigue

Anti-tumor and cancer prevention

Anti-aging

Anti-oxidant

Anti-lipidemic - blood pressure lowering

Anti-inflammatory - prevents inflammation

Anti-ulcer - prevents both stomach, mouth, and bowel ulcers

Anti-obesity - helps with weight loss

Anti-atherosclerotic - prevents hardening of the arteries

Anti-viral - prevents or modulates fungal infections

Anti-depressant

Anti-Alzheimer’s - helps prevent dementia

Anti-arthritic - prevention of arthritis

Anti-osteoporosis - helps prevent the loss of bone mass

Anti-periodontic - reduces/prevents inflammation and infection of gums

Anti-seborrhic - prevents seborrhea (skin disease that causes dandruff)

Anti-calcultic - prevents kidney stones

Anti-pyretic - fever lowering

Anti-Parkinson

Anti-diarrhea

Anti-neuralgic - reduces nerve pain (i.e. diabetic neuropathy of the feet, hands)

Anti-vertigo - prevents dizziness

Anti-glaucomic - prevents glaucoma

Anti-cataract - prevents cataracts

Hypotensive - blood pressure lowering

Immunostimulant - multiple categories cited

Cardioprotective - protects the heart

Analgesic - prevents pain

You should always refer to Mangosteen when talking about health benefits.

The authorities get pretty strict about "product" claims. While we are supposed to have freedom of speech, and for the most part do, when it comes to network marketing our freedoms sometimes get kicked around a bit. Recall there was a time when network marketers were forbidden to say how much money they made? It was absurd and yes, unconstitutional, but nevertheless, it was illegal to state your network marketing income. Unless you wanted a major hassle you had to comply. It took time to get that changed.

The same applies to the making of health claims about a product "brand" or in other words "XanGo." If you have an ailment and you feel XanGo eliminated it, you're not allowed to say, "XanGo cured me of such and such." XanGo is a brand and as such you cannot make health claims about XanGo.

Here's what you CAN do. Read carefully the third party tools about the health benefits of "Mangosteen." Mangosteen is the fruit name just like if you were talking about an orange. Minute Maid brand cannot put out an ad saying, "Minute Maid helps prevent colds." But no one can stop you from saying orange juice helps prevent colds. The same principle applies to Mangosteen.

Take my advice, get yourself educated about the scientifically documented health benefits of using "Mangosteen" and share that documentation with others. Always use the words "Mangosteen" or "Mangosteen juice" and never " XanGo " when speaking about health benefits or when sharing your product testimonial.

It's Go Time!!!
